I have had many dealings with her with various clients & multiple Chambers stoves, ovens & cooktops & each job has been perfect in every way (which is saying a lot these days..).For me, Belgrove Appliance is the only name you need to know when it comes to antique or older stoves & I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have a 50+ year old stove that has served my family very well but for a number of years, one of the tracks that one of two broiler tray slides on had broken and I was unable to either fix it myself or find a local repair shop that without first charging an exorbitant service charge to come out and look at would even consider it. An internet search one evening led me to Belgrove Appliance and I decided to drop them an email that evening explaining my problem. Imagine my surprise when in a matter of minutes, I had a response from Carlita which began a very helpful e-mail conversation in which photos and measurements were requested and provided so that Carlita could make 100% sure that the part that they believed would fit would actually be the right one. To make a long story short, the part just arrived this evening and it fit perfectly and my stove is back in full service for the first time in years. Based on my very positive experience, I would definitely recommend Belgrove Appliance to anyone that might need to have someone who knows what they are doing, someone they can trust and someone who can provide exactly what you need at a reasonable cost.

Very impressed with the honesty and professionalism of Belgrove Appliance. We did not end up using them but would do so in a heartbeat if we could. I was looking to repair our 60+ year old church stove and was having no luck finding someone in the DC area who performed work on older model stoves. I found Belgrove Appliance’s website and contacted them. They responded right away via email and phone. Carlita was very honest and told me refurbishing would cost more than replacing. Even though we were on very tight budget, replacing our stove was not an option. We did a Zoom consultation and Carlita looked at every working part of the stove. A few hours later she sent me two quotes so we could decide on doing the minimum – addressing rust, damages, clogged parts, or doing a refurbishment that would not break the bank. She even reached out to her contacts to find us a good rate to transport the stove from DC to NY. Her attention to detail and the time she spent going over each area that needs work was truly above and beyond what I expected from a 30 minute online meeting. Because of our budget constraints and other immediate needs of the church, we decided to do the most pressing repairs ourselves. I am truly disappointed we will not get to work with Belgrove at this time but I do hope we will be able to in the future. Carlita really cares about working with her clients and finding options for their budgets as well being truthful and realistic about the level or repair that is needed for each job. Highly recommend!
